The Journey Life Church Internship Program is designed to provide the exposure, experience, and education necessary to build a foundation for your life message and calling.

Build healthy relationships with other interns and church staff, leaders, and people and participate (and/or lead) a Life Group.
Be part of changing the lives of others in our community by serving in outreach through the church or through other organizations that partner with Journey
Life Church
Sharpen your gifts and talents and push past your comfort zone through
one-on-one development with your assigned mentor
EXPERIENCE
HANDS ON MINISTRY
Take ownership of ministry opportunities within your gifting set that will challenge you, and give you feedback and gain confidence in your leadership and God given calling.
CAMPUS OPERATIONS
Experience a broad range of tasks around the church as you work alongside of the church staff, learning and leading projects that will develop your abilities.
PRAYER, FASTING, & SPIRITUAL EXERCISES
Pause, remove distractions and grow closer to God as you engage in times of spiritual refreshing with other interns & staff that will develop your spiritual muscles.
EDUCATION
TEACHING W/ STAFF
CREDENTIALING
BIBLE STUDY
Learn directly from the leaders and staff members at Journey Life Church on a variety of topics that will stretch, grow and equip you to succeed.
Work toward pastoral ministry credentials through Michigan School of Ministry classes once a month, and various other study times. These credits are good toward being an Assembly of God credentialed minister. We will also partner with your school for college credit for your intern class.
Create intentional time with God in the midst of a busy schedule by participating in intern-led Bible studies.
